No To NATO, Yes To Peace - Public Meeting At Deptford Town Hall

Free entry, please RSVP using this link

On 4 April, 2024, NATO celebrates its 75th anniversary — a gruesome record of a war, violence, and colonialism.

The US drive for global domination is at the heart of NATO. The US has led Britain into wars in Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan to name a few.

The US is responsible for funding and giving diplomatic cover to the genocide in Gaza.

The US is bringing nuclear weapons back to RAF Lakenheath, a function of NATO’s nuclear sharing policy.

The war in Ukraine, which US led NATO expansion did much to provoke, has led to substantially increased NATO activity in Europe, alongside an increased presence in the Asia-Pacific region and across other parts of the world.

Join Kate Hudson, Andrew Murray, Samai Ramadani, and Fiona Sim on Thursday, 4 April to look back on the history of Nato, why it was created and its destructive legacy, and how we can build roads to peace in Ukraine.
