CND has called a National Day of Action for 23 September for local groups to protest the return of US nukes to Lakenheath. The story is finally getting some press- it’s a good time to act.  

London CND was planning to protest on Parliament Square but we sadly couldn’t secure the official authorisation to do so. We therefore invite everyone to join Lewisham and Greenwich CND’s action!

We will meeting at the General Wolfe statue in Greenwich Park near the Prime Meridian at midday.

Bring your banners and signs as we will have drummers and plan to do a march through the park handing out leaflets after some speeches about “the West” on the east/west divide.
