Join Lambeth and Southwark CND and Stop the War for a meeting on Welfare not Warfare on 21 January, 7 pm, at Effra Social (89 Effra Road, SW2 1DF).

The meeting will focus on education and health, and the threat they face from massive increases in military expenditure and lack of progressive taxation.

Speakers: Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP, and chair of the Socialist Health Association, Rathi Guhadasan.

Afterwards, an informal discussion will follow the arranged meeting, running to 9 pm.
