Lewisham and Greenwich CND are coming together to organise an aid fundraiser for Cuba. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards the purchasing of essential goods which will be hand delivered by a delegation of local activists between 26 April – 10 May as part of the International May Day Volunteer Work and Solidarity with Cuba Brigade.

The evening takes place at the Fox & Firkin pub in Lewisham, with live music and speakers celebrating the campaign.

The US blockade on Cuba continues to suffocate the island’s access to essential goods. This people-powered mission aims to break the blockade and deliver aid as well as a powerful message: The people of Cuba are not alone.
