On 1 November, Bromley CND held a Ceasefire Vigil and stall in West Wickham, distributing Nuclear Ban leaflets and collecting signatures for a ceasefire petition. They’re running monthly ceasefire stalls across the borough on the first Saturday of each month, check their Facebook page for updates.

Merton Peace Coalition/CND’s Shut Down Northrop Grumman Campaign off to a flying start
On Saturday, 1 November, Merton Peace Coalition launched their campaign to shut down the London-based arms manufacturer, Northrop Grumman (NG). The group held a demonstration outside the company’s head offices in Wimbledon. NG has a hand in creating intercontinental ballistic missiles, F-35 jets used by Israel, and is actively supporting the Trump administration by supplying technologies used by immigration authorities.
Commenting online, Merton Peace Coalition stated, “We do not want war-profiteers, genocide-enablers, or nuclear-proliferators to be operating within our community. We want to see their export licenses revoked and their offices in New Malden closed down!”
